The Fiat 500 will be produced from 1957. The "Nueva 500" is a 4-seater with a 13hp rear engine. The car is also nicknamed "yogurt pot" because of its rounded shape. It is capable of driving at 90 km/h for a consumption of only 4.5l per 100kms. Thesuccess is at the rendezvous in 1968 with the model "discoverable", success quickly extended beyond the borders, so that the Fiat 500 discoverable struts on all the roads of Europe. However, sales gradually declined, and the firm decided to stop production in 1970.

Good to know: Despite the cessation of production, the Fiat 500 remained an Italian emblem, which led the Italian government to classify it as a national heritage a few years later.
