The Land Rover Lightweight 88" Series'3 has been designed to be even lighter than the Series I and II. In 1972, it was manufactured on the basis of a Series III. He could board the big British cargo planes. However, it was still too heavy for a Wessex helicopter. The wheels, doors, roof and windshield are dismantled and transported separately. The soldiers in operation could easily trace them even in the depths of the campaign!
